My name is Phil Garrow. I am a designer, a writer, and a sculptor. I live in Oakcliffe, a South Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In the fall of 2011 I painted the mural on the roof of my home. The mural is my house number, and a URL. Each number is over seven feet tall, and the URL they form is over thirty-five feet long. My mural is so large it can be seen from Google’s Aerial View of my home. On this site, I have written a Page to tell how I painted this mural.

This website helps the members of the Oakcliffe community communicate their development ideas to the City of Pittsburgh. The topic of this site is improving walking and bicycle routes from South Oakland to other parts of the city.
Oakcliffe.org – Neighborhood Organization
This website provides current information to members of the local community in one convenient location. Among the topics covered are public service announcements, weather related events, and community meetings.
SouthOaklandPGH.org – Community Organization
Similar to Oakcliffe.org, this website provides current information to an adjacent community here in South Oakland. Both sites consolidate information from various sources, keeping their communities informed about current events.
